Before ELG, Nicole graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in Ethics, Politics, & Economics. During college, she gained experience in policy research and government affairs through internships at the Office of Congressman Steve Cohen, the ACLU of Tennessee, the U.S. Department of Labor, and Organon & Co. At Yale, Nicole was a Newman Civic Fellow, Women in Government Fellow, and board member of the Reproductive Justice Action League. Passionate about civic education and racial justice, Nicole is deeply involved in grassroots organizing in her community in Tennessee, serving on the steering committee of a local coalition working to diversify public history and mobilize youth for social change.
