Mark Haidar is an associate in the Litigation practice. He and his colleagues litigate cases across the country to protect democracy and voting rights.
Before joining Elias Law Group, Mark worked at Perkins Coie’s Political Law Group, the Brennan Center for Justice’s Democracy Program, Campaign Legal Center, and the Constitutional Accountability Center. He also gained election law experience as an extern at Harvard’s Election Law Clinic.
Mark graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he served as founder and president of the Equal Democracy Project and as an executive editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. He received the Dean’s Scholar Prize in several democracy-related courses, including the Law of Presidential Elections, Law and Democracy, Law and Politics Workshop, and Legal Ethics.
Mark also holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where he was a Zuckerman Fellow. He previously earned a B.A. in Public Policy from the University of Michigan, graduating with highest honors. Mark is based out of the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
