Dylon Busser is an associate in ELG’s Political Law practice. With a background in Democratic campaigns and fundraising in Illinois, Dylon now brings his political expertise to the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2013, Dylon worked in Illinois state politics where he served as a Field Director and Communications Director for several winning campaigns. After his time working for the Illinois House of Representatives as a communications and issues specialist for Democratic legislators, he became a successful political fundraiser. In law school, Dylon clerked for the Office of the Illinois Governor and the Political Law Group at Perkins Coie.
At the firm, Dylon advises campaigns, political action committees, and non-profit organizations on state and federal campaign finance laws, lobbying regulations, and election administration rules. Dylon also counsels elected officials on ethics and disclosure rules and has successfully represented clients before the House Committee on Ethics and the Office of Congressional Ethics.
He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
